  • “The film was so powerful. I couldn’t believe so much is happening and we don’t know about it. The film brilliantly encapsulates so much in so little time and keeps you guessing until the end.  This needs to be shown in every university and school and most importantly to the every citizen of the world.  Rushan’s strength gives me strength that there is hope in this world and the filmmakers have my respect for taking on such a dangerous yet important topic.”
  • “One of the most heart breaking documentaries I have ever seen.  I don’t even know where to begin. And your protagonist, I love her cause, her passion and most of all her journey and how she deals with everything coming at her and yet she is so focused and determined.  And normally a film works when there is great connection between everyone on production and the film shows that Rushan and you have synergy about this story.  It is a rare thing.  And one more thing.  I wasn’t convinced about what has been happening in China until I saw this film. Your film is so important to make people ask important question.  Am I complicit in genocide. Well done to both of you.”
  • “A very important film in this day and age. It was not only emotionally charged but sent the message loud and clear. It should definitely be shared to as many groups (viewers) as possible. Needs NETFLIX status! Thank you so much.”
  • “The film and the discussion were excellent and very moving. It’s excellent that a Jewish organization which commemorates the Holocaust should give air to the Ughyers’ desperate plight.”
  • “Rushan, thank you for your courage, determination and for issuing a warning about the CCP in general. My father’s family was murdered during the Holocaust. I can relate to your pain…but as my father taught me, NEVER LOSE HOPE!”
  • “Thank you very much for organizing this event. This is very important issue that we all have to know. I think that it is easier to watch a film than reading to understand the situation, especially for people who are not familiar with this topic, so this must be great opportunity for many people”
  • “Silence won’t help anyone and we need to take action to stop the Chinese government from detaining Uyghur people. This film is a giant first step towards it”
  • “We cannot stop China alone, so we all have to align and stop this genocide in our era together. I always wonder why nobody really stopped the genocide of Jewish people in Germany and other countries as it was well known even at that time. Some neighbour countries in Europe did send Jewish people to Germany as Turkey send Uyghurs back to China. We failed to stop genocide in former era, we have to stop ongoing genocide in China.”
